This site is a living tribute to Father Carroll—a man who spent nearly fifty years as a tireless ‘mountain priest’ for North Central West Virginia. From his birth in Wheeling in 1904 to his decades of service beginning in 1933, he was the heartbeat of our local parishes, building schools and nurturing faith wherever he went.

We invite you to explore his legacy, share your own stories, and join us in prayer as we support the exploration of his potential cause for sainthood. While we remain ever-respectful of the Church’s formal discernment process, we believe his life of service is a story that must be told.
